Process for Stolpersteine Placement

  • These memorial stones are fabricated by Gunter Demnig.

  • If you don’t know the address of the individual you are hoping to memorialized visit Jewish Genealogy or join one of the many Jewish Descendants groups on Facebook.

  • Permission to set the stones is from the local government.

  • Occasionally there is a community organization to help coordinate with the city and arrange for a stone setting ceremony. Other locations will require you to develop your own liaisons.

  • Initial contact can be made to Anne Thomas - international@stolperstein.edu

  • Additional information can be found here.
